Black Entertainment Blogs 2

Our Black History Month celebration continues this week with even more great blogs. More than a week ago, we looked at this set of black entertainment blogs.

Today, we found a few more to join the collection.

LoveBScott.com is the blog of B. Scott, the “No. 1 celebrity blogger among African Americans.”

B. Scott appears to be a force to be reckoned with.

He’s interviewed numerous A-Listers including “his good friend, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Ne-Yo, and Chaka Khan, to name a few.” B. Scott’s TV appearances include hosting the BET Awards Pre-Show, guest spots on HLN’s Dr. Drew, Showbiz Tonight and The Daily Share, and Access Hollywood.

I really enjoyed ‘The View’ Renewed for a 20th Season, Raven-Symone’s Return Uncertain, ‘America’s Next Top Model’ is Returning to VH1 Without Tyra Banks as Host, and Beyonce is Reportedly Dropping Her New Album in April, Joint Album With Jay Z Set For Later This Year.

Black Hollywood Live is “the world’s first online broadcast network dedicated to African-American entertainment.”

“BHL programming features inside information, insightful commentary and in-depth interviews with Hollywood’s biggest stars and influencers,” the blog says. “Black Hollywood Live: Hollywood redefined.”

This is a massive site.

I found several posts that caught my eye, including Angela Stevens Helps Break Down the 2016 Grammys Fashion News | BHL’s Fashion 411, Democratic Debate, New Hampshire Primaries and More | BHL’s Black Tea Party, and Microsoft’s Underwater Data Center, Google Fiber & More! | BHL’s Geek. Nerd. Tech.

Baller Alert features events, gossip, fashion, music, sports and news.

The site posts some interesting pieces around entertainment.

Some notable posts I found include Ryan Coogler, Ava DuVernay & More Ditch Oscars For Flint, Bobby Brown and Wife Expecting Another Child? and The Government Wants Apple’s Help Unlocking More Phones.

In the latter post, Baller Alert asks its readers for their thoughts on the issue.

The blog originally sources Business Insider, which reported Feds want Apple’s help to crack phones involved in at least a dozen cases. Baller Alert reports that originally the FBI asked Apple to assist them in unlocking the phone used by one of the San Bernardino shooters.

“The justice department now wants Apple to aide in cracking phones involved in at least a dozen other cases,” Baller Alert says. “Apple is still refusing to threaten the security of their customers. Many people have mixed beliefs on this matter.”
