Welcome to Part 2 of my favorite camping blogs.

If you’re itching to unplug, explore nature, and find some peace and quiet, these blogs offer plenty of inspiration.

Make sure to check out Part 1 for the rest of the list.

1. 50 Campfires

50 Campfires is an online camping magazine that has all the camping information you can think of.

“The Camping Authority” posts camping recipes, tips, and gear reviews. While posts mostly cater to people who prefer car camping, 50 Campfires can appeal to anyone wanting to spend time outdoors.

If you’re looking to stay relatively close to home, the site allows you to filter posts by state. Readers also can submit their own camping tips and recipes.

I recommend bookmarking these posts: 10 Tips On Packing the Car for Your Next Camping Trip, 10 Most Googled Sleeping Bag Questions – Answered!, and 6 Great Ways To Make Camping Coffee.

2. ManCamping.ca

In Part 1, I mentioned the Camping for Women blog. This time I wanted to highlight a blog for men who love camping.

The ManCamping.ca tagline is “It’s Not A Gender Thing; It’s A State Of Mind & Lack Of Planning Thing.” Started by friends John and Scot from Ontario, Canada, the blog grew out of their sense of adventure – pick a route, grab some gear, and hit the road.

Posts cover topics like camping recipes, equipment, and advice. A great sense of humor makes the posts a lot of fun to read.

Each year, the site also posts a week of ManCamping Women articles from women with stories of camping misadventures.

I enjoyed reading #getoutside2019 – The ManCamping Drinking Tepee, 3 Day-Trips That are Absolutely Worth it in Ontario, and Are You Killing Your Spirit of Adventure on Social Media?

3. Camping Tourist

This blog has everything a camping lover could need and is especially helpful for camping beginners.

“Camping is made easy” with posts that cover destination inspiration, tips for selecting a tent, activity ideas, and much more.

The social media pages aren’t updated as often as the site, so make sure to visit the homepage for the latest posts.

Here are a few helpful posts for camping novices: Top 15 Must-Visit Camping Destinations In The US!, 5 Tips You Should Know About Camping During Summers, and 5 Tips to Select the Right Tent.

4. Sue’s Outdoor Crew

Blogger Sue, based in Canada, loves living a healthy outdoor lifestyle and wants to pass on this passion to her readers.

Most of Sue’s outdoor adventures include her husband, son, or friends. Post topics include camping, hiking, and sightseeing.

I especially love her posts about winter camping, something my husband has been struggling to convince me to do for some time.

Mother’s Day Get Away, Adventure Down the West Coast of Newfoundland, and Top 3 Luxury Backcountry Gear Picks were good reads.
