Match released initial findings from its 10th annual Singles in America study, the nation’s largest and most comprehensive annual scientific study, now studying more than 50,000 singles across the U.S. This 2020 data on 5,000 singles provides insight into how singles navigated dating during a year of unparalleled political, economic and social change, focusing on how the global pandemic and upcoming election transformed singles’ approach to dating, sex, and love.

Amy Winehouse 2 NEW BOXSETS ’12×7: The Singles Collection’ and ‘THE COLLECTION’

A 7″ singles box set comprising all of Amy Winehouse’s memorable singles from the Frank, Back to Black and Lioness: Hidden Treasures albums will be released on Nov. 20.  Featured tracks include “Stronger Than Me,” “Rehab” and “Love Is a Losing Game,” all of which won the Ivor Novello Award for Amy in 2004, 2007, and 2008. The set also includes the Grammy award-winning “Body and Soul,” a duet with the legendary Tony Bennett. The singles will be housed in individual picture sleeves and pressed on black vinyl. The deluxe box also features a 20-page lyrics booklet and a set of art cards.

Regal to Temporarily Suspend U.S. Theater Operations on Oct. 8

In response to an increasingly challenging theatrical landscape and sustained key market closures due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Cineworld, parent company of Regal, announced on Oct. 5 that it will be temporarily suspending operations at all of its 536 Regal theaters in the U.S., as of Thursday, Oct. 8.
