87% of Workers Have Heightened Concerns About Working in an Office With the Rise of New Covid-19 Variants, Honeywell Survey Finds

Honeywell today (Jan. 20) released initial findings from its second annual study on workers’ perceptions and feelings on the health and safety of their workplace. Conducted by Wakefield Research, the study surveyed 3,000 office workers who typically work in buildings with 500 or more employees across the U.S., United Kingdom, Germany, India, the Middle East and ASEAN.

Also among the findings: 62% of all respondents would leave their job if their employer does not take necessary measures to create a healthier indoor environment that promotes well-being.

Sony Music Entertainment Acquires Bob Dylan’s Entire Catalog of Recorded Music

Sony Music Entertainment today (Jan. 24) announced it has fully acquired Bob Dylan’s entire back catalog of recorded music, as well as the rights to multiple future new releases, in a major expansion of SME’s six-decade relationship with the artist. This landmark agreement, concluded in July 2021, comprises the entirety of Bob Dylan’s recorded body of work since 1962, beginning with the artist’s self-titled debut album and continuing through 2020’s highly acclaimed and successful Rough and Rowdy Ways.

In other music news, Neil Young Radio is returning exclusively to SiriusXM.

Global Consumer Confidence Unchanged in Q4: Strong Gains Across East Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Gulf Were Offset by Cooling Optimism Elsewhere

Global consumer confidence remained unchanged in the fourth quarter of 2021, according to The Conference Board Global Consumer Confidence Survey. The Q4 survey — which was fielded before the Omicron variant’s global surge — found confidence holding steady at a record high of 115 worldwide, but with considerable divergence across economies amid pandemic uncertainties and rising prices.
