Ready to stoke your wanderlust? Budget Travel’s Where To Go 2016 list is bigger and better than ever with amazing (and amazingly affordable!) destinations from around the globe. Curated by the editors at Budget Travel, an 18-year-old multi-platform travel media and services company that empowers consumers to travel the world on any budget, the annual compendium is the go-to list of top travel locales. Each destination is chosen for its mix of natural appeal, culturally rich qualities and, of course, great value. In 2016, Iceland—popular for its beautiful glaciers, volcanoes and hot springs—tops the annual Where to Go list.  Following Iceland at #1 are San Antonio, Cuba, Los Angeles, Greece, Vietnam, Martinique, Galapagos Islands, Portugal, and Mexico’s Isla Holbox. See the full release for more on the destinations and how to match “travel personalities” with perfect destinations.

3, 2, 1, lift off! Students explore space with mISSion imaginaTIon

Pairing the endless possibilities of space exploration with the limitless opportunities of education, Texas Instruments (TI) and NASA are partnering to show students how science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) make feats like space exploration possible with mISSion imaginaTIon. The partnership and its programs aim to spur the imaginations of the next generation of scientists, engineers, explorers and innovators who are in today’s math and science classrooms. Yesterday, the mISSion imaginaTIon online quiz launched, allowing participants to see if they have what it takes for a year-long mission aboard the International Space Station. After discovering how ready they are to live in space, students can then put their STEM skills to the test with the mISSion imaginaTIon design challenge, which asks students to devise solutions to four space-related challenges. Influential Colors of the New Year

After careful examination of color trends in modern fashion, lifestyle and culture, color expert Sara McLean from Dunn-Edwards Paints forecasts influential paint hues that will be popular in home design this year. McLean predicts that roses and pinks will continue to influence and become more sophisticated and less juvenile. She’s observed the soft blushing pinks infused in recent fashion, makeup and even automotive designs. Several companies that predicted which color will be hot in 2016 also chose a color in the pink family, including Pantone. McLean sees beyond a single “color of the year,” however. “I believe that the combination of colors tell the story,” says McLean. “It’s about the entire palette and how a collection of colors evokes a feeling, an era or a scene.”  See the full release for other colors that will be influential in home design this year.
