I have a new favorite show.

I recently bumped into Good Bones on HGTV, and I’m now anxious for the second season, which begins January.

The show is about a mother-daughter business duo (Two Chicks and a Hammer) who rehabilitate and flip homes in Indianapolis.

I’m super addicted – and inspired – by their home design.

So, these chicks were the inspiration behind this week’s home improvement blogs.

Apartment Therapy is “saving the world, one room at a time.”

This is a great blog. It features house tours and news about design, lifestyle, DIY, organizing and cleaning, remodeling, and money.

There’s honestly so much to love here.

Several posts caught my eye, but here are some of my favorites: A Light-Filled 1772 Colonial House in Rhode Island, Long Held Suspicions Confirmed: Yes, The Home of Anthropologie’s Co-Founder is Indeed Amazing, Goodbye Brooklyn, Hello Savannah: A Scandinavian-Meets-Craftsman Style Bungalow Renovation, and Real Life Advice: Everything I Now Know About Refacing Kitchen Cabinets.

Remodelista is a “sourcebook for considered living.”

This is an attractive site.

One of my favorite kitchens – for its rustic simplicity – is this Kitchen of the Week: The New Italian Country Kitchen by Katrin Arens, Scrap Wood Edition.

Other notable posts include Architect Visit: A Barn-Style House for the Future, Hudson Valley Edition, Rehab Diary: How to Paint Furniture Like an Expert, and Steal This Look: A Vintage Bath in England with a DIY Faucet.
