We’ve got some good things in store for June. Here are some events that should be on your radar.
June 1-4: The Sustainable Travel Summit
For the first time, Immersion Travel Magazine is hosting a free, online event for people who love to travel and want to make a difference. The Sustainable Travel Summit is a four-day, online event. Learn all about the world of sustainable travel from experts in the field. Get all of your travel questions answered in real time by guides, lodge owners, fellow travelers and folks who know a thing or two about zero footprint travel.
June 2-4: WordCamp Asheville
WordCamp Asheville attracts bloggers, business owners, designers, developers, and hobbyists from western North Carolina and beyond for a weekend of learning, connection, and fun. Now in its fourth year, WordCamp Asheville is centered around growing knowledge of WordPress and forging the connections that allow individuals and businesses to succeed. The event takes place at the Mission Health/A-B Tech Conference Center.
June 10: Thrive Blog Conference
Thrive is an annual conference that brings in speakers who are successful bloggers, entrepreneurs, and bosses. More importantly, every speaker, coordinator, and volunteer has a passion for seeing others succeed. At Thrive, everyone supports each other and the attendees have become a tribe that stays in touch long after the conference is over. The event takes place annually in Houston.
June 10: Blogtacular
This conference allows people who create vibrant and original content to discuss their work, fill their minds with new ideas, connect, and collaborate with other bloggers. Blogtacular features traditional conference sessions, workshops, a photowalk, and social events across the weekend. The event takes place in the heart of London at 200 Aldersgate.
June 10-11: WordCamp Orange County
WordCamp Orange County is a good place to learn meet, talk, and immerse yourself in everything WordPress. From the absolute beginner to the hardest of hardcore developers, WordCamp Orange County will have something for you. WordCamp Orange County is going to bring you two tracks of sessions and workshops to satisfy designers and developers, bloggers and beginners, business owners and burgeoning writers. The event takes place at The Cove at UCI Applied Innovation in Irvine.
During Social Media Week LA, the group is exploring the theme “Language and the Machine,” which examines how algorithms are shaping human language communication. Attendees in Los Angeles will explore this through more than 100 mainstage talks, interviews, panel sessions, and workshops. The mainstage is The Eli and Edythe Broad Stage in Santa Monica.
June 22-24: BlogHer 17
Everyone’s heard of BlogHer. The #BlogHer17 conference will be focused on highlighting the skills and talents of women who are raising their voices and creating content online. The event takes place at the Hilton Orlando, Bonnet Creek.
June 29-July 1: Type-A Mastermind Summit – Chicago
Type-A Mastermind Summit is a highly intensive, two+ day networking and collaborative conference for bloggers and marketers. At the summit, everyone’s a speaker/contributor and the goal is helping social media professionals explosively grow their businesses. Type-A Parent caps attendance at 30 attendees so there’s the highest level of learning and networking.

July 12-13: Sweet Suite
The Toy Insider’s eighth annual Sweet Suite event takes place at Pier 60 in New York City. Top digital influencers including bloggers and bloggers from the U.S. and Canada will gather for the biggest night of play, meeting face-to-face with the biggest companies in the toy industry to be the first to play with some of this holiday season’s hottest toys.
July 15: Simply Stylist Chicago
Since 2012, Simply Stylist has brought consumers, tastemakers, and industry experts together via its Style & Beauty Conferences. In July, Simply Stylist will be at Chicago’s The Dana Hotel.
July 15: Simply Stylist Los Angeles 2017
In 2012, founder Sarah Boyd created Simply Inc. as an agency specializing in events and brand collaborations. Soon after, Boyd noticed a missing link between people trying to make their way in the fashion and beauty industries and those leading the fashion and beauty industries. Think of Simply Stylist as the bridge that connects you with other like-minded stylistas, beauty babes and tech whizzes. The LA event takes place at The Grove Rooftop.
July 20-22: Haven Conference
Haven is a DIY and decorating professional blogging conference. It brings 350 pro-bloggers together with more than 100 sponsor representatives for a three-day event. Sessions focus on improving skills in blogging, decorating, home improvement, photography, writing, social media, brand relationships, and book writing.
