Upcoming Blogger Events September 2018

Sept. 14: Bloggy Conference

Bloggy Conference emerged in 2011 as an extension of the Bloggy Moms Network. The conference aims to help attendees grow, network, and participate in education of the ever-changing social media world. The meeting will take place at the Hotel Breakers, just steps from Cedar Point in Ohio.

Sept. 20-21: Confluence

Confluence is a digital marketing conference for specialists, jacks-of-all-trades, and managers. “We’re for digital entrepreneurs and small business owners, and we’re for marketing departments big and small,” the site says. “We invite speakers whose lessons will apply whether your job is more technical or more creative.” The meeting takes place at Tower Theatre in Oklahoma City.

Sept. 20-22: TravelCon

TravelCon is a three-day meeting to connect attendees with industry leaders, influencers, and celebrated writers through keynote speeches, small group writing and photography workshops, breakout tutorial sessions, and industry panels. You will learn what’s working in today’s competitive travel industry, timeless business practices, and the skills you need to succeed as a creator. The conference takes place at the JW Marriott in Austin.

Sept. 26-29: FinCon18

At FinCon, attendees will learn from their peers and outside experts about creating better content, reaching audience, and making more money. Attendees can choose content from six main tracks, three bonus tracks, and workshops. Among the things attendees will learn: How to craft compelling money-related digital content for a blog, social accounts, podcast, and video channel – part of the process is learning what’s current in personal finance, deals, and investing. FinCon takes place at the Rosen Shingle Creek hotel resort in Orlando.

Sept. 27: TECHmunch NYC

TECHmunch NYC will bring content creators (namely, food bloggers, culinary influencers, and culinary brands) up-to-speed on the latest tools for creating great content. It will be a full day of networking, educational sessions, tastings, and demos.

Sept. 27-29: Type-A Parent & Lifestyle Blogging Conference

Type-A is not exclusive to parents. The organization has grown with its community that blogs about a wide range of topics and lifestyles. Type-A has bloggers who cover recipes and food, travel, beauty and fashion, makers and crafts, business, pets, home decor, and parenting. It’s known for the business of blogging. The conference takes place in Chicago.

Oct. 4-7: Wine Bloggers Conference

Wine Bloggers Conference is for citizen bloggers and writers who write about wine or the industry and who wish to network with others, industry bloggers who maintain a blog to support their winery or other wine-related business, new media innovators from the world of blogging and social media, and wine industry members who would like to learn about new media or interact with bloggers. The conference takes place in Walla Walla, Wash.

Oct. 12-14: 2:1 Conference

2:1 Conference is the only live event for Christian entrepreneurs who also homeschool their children. This event has a six-year reputation for giving entrepreneurs the business skills they need. The event takes place at the Westin Dulles in Herndon, Va.
