April 3-7: Craftcation
Craftcation: Business & Maker’s Conference is an annual four-day conference at the beach in Ventura, Calif. The conference features expert instructors leading attendees in business and craft workshops as well as social gatherings to connect with fellow attendees. Most workshops and events are at the Ventura Beach Marriott.
April 11-12: 2020 Campaign Journalism Conference
The University of Chicago Institute of Politics and Nieman Foundation for Journalism at Harvard are putting on this conference for journalists covering the next presidential election. The conference is free and open to journalists from all platforms, but registration is required and space is limited. The deadline to register is March 15. The conference will focus on key elements of the upcoming presidential race, while examining how a more forward-looking, responsive type of coverage can better serve voters and adapt to fast-changing narratives. The event takes place at Google headquarters in Chicago.
April 11-13: Snap Conference
Snap is a conference for creative lifestyle influencers and some of the best bloggers representing modern handmade, contemporary craft, mind-blowing home-based events and DIY, along with dozens of creative entrepreneurs. Organizers are expecting about 350 attendees this year. The event is held in Salt Lake City.
April 24-26: Mom 2.0
Mom 2.0 is a professional conference and gathering of influencers, who create content online and on air in parenting, entertainment, food, politics, business, marketing, technology, social change, travel and design. Every year, women leaders in media and business converge at the summit to compare notes, discuss ideas, and forecast what’s next for women online and in the marketplace. The event is taking place in Austin, Texas.
April 25-26: Social Media Camp
Social Media Camp is Canada’s largest social media conference. The event tackles all aspects of social media, and people come from all over North America, and from all sectors of the economy – small business, large business, government, education, and non-profit. Some of the things covered include social media marketing, communications, sales, crowdsourcing, e-learning, digital marketing, content marketing, e-mail marketing, and inbound marketing. The event is held in Victoria, BC.
May 2-4: Everything Food Conference
Everything Food Conference is among the largest food conferences, with more than 700 top food influencers, bloggers, and content creators in attendance. Attendees are forward-thinkers and trendsetters,and Everything Food brings in advanced presenters, serious sponsors, and provides strong networking opportunities with attendees and brands. The event is held at the Davis Conference Center in Layton, Utah.
May 3-5: Women in Travel Summit
Women in Travel Summit (WITS) is a premier event for travel influencers, creators, and industry. Now in its sixth year, WITS brings together some of travel’s top talent to discuss future innovations, build dynamic collaborations, and change the travel industry worldwide, all while supporting and empowering a diverse community. The event is held at the Holiday Inn–By The Bay in Portland, Maine.
