In the past, our Blogger Conferences posts typically covered events taking place in the coming weeks. To help you better plan ahead of time, we’re going to begin including all events for the next two months.

Various Dates: WordCamp
These locally organized conferences cover all things WordPress. Depending on the community, WordCamp topics may differ, but the events generally help attendees learn how to get the most out of WordPress, teach them how to use plugins and themes, etc. They are great for blogging newbies, WordPress pros, and anyone in between. In July, you can attend WordCamps in Grand Rapids, Mich. (July 13), Boston (July 20-21), and Denver (July 27-28). More are scheduled for August.
July 10-13: VidCon
VidCon conferences, founded by veteran YouTube creator Hank Green, are the “world’s largest events for fans, creators, executives, and brands that are passionate about online video and building diverse communities.” VidCon offers three tracks: Community (for fans), Creator (for those looking to learn more about the ins and outs of online video), and Industry (for video experts looking to grow their business). Tracks include access to keynotes, panels, concerts, and VidCon Prom. VidCon takes place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
July 15-17: MozCon
MozCon brings together industry leaders from search engine optimization (SEO), mobile, local search, and more. Attendees will learn tactics for ranking higher in search results and have plenty of opportunities for networking. The three-day event takes place in Seattle.
July 18-20: Haven
The Haven Conference is all about DIY/home blogging. The conference teaches attendees how to improve their DIY skills, boost their blogs, try new products, and network. The list of speakers includes some of the biggest names in DIY and home improvement. Sessions will cover a range of topics, including how to work with influencers, photography tips, SEO, and scroll saw skill building. The Haven Conference will be in Atlanta at the Grand Hyatt Buckhead.
July 20: WOW Influencers ‘19
Moms Meet puts on the WOW Influencers event to connect “better-for-you brands with established mom bloggers and influencers in an intimate and relaxed networking setting.” Bloggers can build relationships and hopefully walk away with new partners in content creation and product reviews. Established bloggers and social media influencers can request an invite on the site. WOW Influencers ’19 takes place at The New Oxford in Vancouver, British Columbia.
July 20-21: BlogLifeU19
The theme of this year’s Blog Life University is “Stop Chasing Page Views & Start Chasing Profits” and will look at new ways of generating income for bloggers. The event embraces women bloggers’ entrepreneurial spirits and wants to help them create a path to profitability. BlogLifeU19 will be in Orlando, Fla.
July 24: Toy Insider’s Sweet Suite
This year is the 10th anniversary of Sweet Suite, the “legendary toy party for members of the press and top-tier digital influencers.” More than 400 guests attend the event to see the hottest new toys and collectibles of the year. The party includes photo opps, contests, games, and, of course, time to play with the toys. Sweet Suite takes place at Pier Sixty in New York City.
July 24: Babypalooza
More than 200 digital influencers and members of the media are expected to attend Babypalooza and connect with top baby and family brands. The lineup includes speakers from Mom.me and Good Housekeeping. The event will be held at Chelsea Piers in New York City.
This four-day conference offers a collegial atmosphere of workshops, panels, and discussions for travel writers, photographers, publishers, and editors. Optional 30-minute private consultations also are available to attendees to discuss concepts, get feedback, etc. The conference takes place in Corte Madera, Calif., just north of San Francisco.
Aug. 9-11: Megaphone Summit 2019
This regional event is open to bloggers, vloggers, podcasters, and “social media rockstars” from any industry, including lifestyle, food, travel, and health. The Summit, now in its ninth year, is an opportunity to “gather, grow and connect talented content creators to provide education, skill development, resources, camaraderie and brand partnerships.” This year, the Summit will be hosted in Bentonville, Ark.
Aug. 11-13: Affiliate Summit East
Affiliate Summit East 2019 will welcome thousands of attendees composed of online publishers, influencers, media owners, and more to build face-to-face relationships and show off their affiliate marketing solutions. Exhibitors will offer tools for lead generation and brand awareness — all to help you reach your target audience. ASE19 will be held at the New York Marriott Marquis.
Aug. 13-16: Podcast Movement
Anyone interested in or involved with the podcasting industry should check out Podcast Movement. The event will bring together podcasting newbies, industry representatives, and podcasting pros from around the world to grow the community and industry. The 150+ sessions are broken down into seven tracks: Creation; Technical; Industry; Marketing; Monetization; Society, Culture & Advocacy; and Audio Drama/Fiction. Podcast Movement will take place at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Fla.
Aug. 14-16: Food Allergy Bloggers Conference
This conference brings together bloggers, parents, and advocates with a focus on food allergies and/or Celiac disease. Here, you can connect with medical experts and allergen-friendly companies to learn about the latest research and advocacy as well as build relationships. The three-day event will be held at Southern Maine Community College in Portland, Maine.
Aug. 20-23: Travel Media Showcase
Now in its 19th year, the Travel Media Showcase welcomes travel media and marketers looking to foster partnerships to drive earned media coverage. The event includes journalist/exhibitor appointment sessions, regional press tours, and plenty of networking opportunities. Travel media interested in attending can fill out a questionnaire on the website. TMS will be at Marriott Century Center in Atlanta.
This is a single-day, social media micro-conference presented by FLOCK. The speakers will discuss how they found blogging success, how they adapt to social trends, and how they create compelling stories that keep their readers engaged. The event will be hosted at The Peabody Memphis in Memphis, Tenn.
