Blogger Conferences: Top Events to Attend in November & December 2019

Various Dates: WordCamp
These locally organized conferences cover all things WordPress. Depending on the community, WordCamp topics may differ, but the events generally help attendees learn how to get the most out of WordPress, teach them how to use plugins and themes, etc. They are great for blogging newbies, WordPress pros, and anyone in between. In November, you can attend WordCamps in Riverside, Calif. (Nov. 8-10), Seattle (Nov. 9-10), and Boise, Idaho (Nov. 15-16), with more in December.
Nov. 1-2: Pinners Conference & Expo | Utah
If you couldn’t make the Dallas event in September, this next Pinners event may be the one for you. As the site describes the weekend, “Learn something new. Create something cool. Connect with your friends and your new friends.” With myriad classes to attend and plenty of shopping opportunities, this event is a Pinterest content creator’s dream. Check it out at the Mountain America Expo Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Nov. 4-5: State of Search Conference
Digital content creators need to understand how online search works in order to successfully promote their brand and reach their target audience. This two-day event presented by the Dallas/Fort Worth Search Engine Marketing Association will cover topics like WordPress SEO, local SEO, email marketing, and social media. The event will take place at the Gilley’s Dallas event space in Dallas, Texas.
Nov. 4-6: World Travel Market London
This global event for the travel industry gives you the opportunity to learn about travel trends and innovations from industry leaders in sectors like well-being, sports travel, music travel, and technology. Attendees have access to almost 5,000 of the world’s leading travel and tourism companies. WTM London will be held at the ExCeL convention center in London.
Nov. 6-8: Mediavine Conference | Austin
The second Mediavine Conference of the year will take place in Austin. The site explains it best: “Aimed at experienced bloggers, the Mediavine Conference will continue to leverage those connections to help you take your blog to the next level in sales, marketing, videography and more.” Learn about content optimization, website security, success tips for Pinterest, and more at the Fairmont Austin hotel.
Nov. 8-9: Pinners Conference & Expo | Scottsdale
This is the last Pinners Conference of 2019. The pre-holiday timing is perfect for crafters, DIYers, cooks, and photographers. Check it out at WestWorld events facility in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Nov. 14-16: Blissdom Conference
Blissdom is “a conference and community for women and moms who want to take their business and life to the next level.” Available tracks include Business + Entrepreneurship, Writing + Speaking, Photography + Video, and Podcasting. The conference takes place at Music City Center in Nashville.
Nov. 15-17: TMS Family Travel Conference & Summit
Learn about the latest in family travel trends, techniques, and technology at TMS Family Travel. There are no registration fees for members of the media who pre-qualify. This is an invitation-only event, so fill out the media questionnaire as soon as possible. The event will be held at Robert Treat Hotel in Newark, N.J.
Dec. 4-6: TEDWomen 2019
TEDWomen is a three-day event “celebrating pioneers making power moves, brilliant people who are just getting started, and those who tirelessly show up as allies and advocates.” The lineup of inspiring women speakers includes journalists, activists, photographers, scholars, and more. #TEDWomen takes place at the La Quinta Resort & Club in Palm Springs, Calif.
Dec. 7: TECHmunch LA
TECHmunch is the place for food bloggers, content creators, and influencers to learn how to level-up and “leap frog” the competition. The intensive one-day conference covers the latest tools and tactics for creating top-notch digital content. The traveling conference will host its final event of the year in sunny Los Angeles, a nice escape from chilly winter weather.
