Jan. 7-10: CES
CES is “the most influential tech event in the world.” It will return to Las Vegas in 2025 for a live, in-person event. Thousands of exhibitors from all over the world will meet with hundreds of media attendees to discuss how their innovations are building a better world. The 2025 event’s theme is “Dive In.” Check out first-time exhibitors like Oshkosh Corporation and Komatsu, or attend Delta Air Lines’ keynote presentation at the Sphere. Expect the latest advancements in fields like digital health, AI, sustainability, gaming, vehicle tech, cybersecurity, beauty and fashion tech, space tech and more.
Jan. 11-12: Adventure Travel Show
Get ready, travel writers! The Adventure Travel Show returns in 2025 to the Business Design Centre in London. Whether you plan on writing about travel in the UK or exploring jungles, mountains, rivers and deserts across every continent, the 100+ exhibitors will be on hand to help.
Jan. 14: Writing and Pitching Reported Personal Essays
The hybrid reported personal essay combines research, interviews, expert quotes, journalism skills and creative nonfiction storytelling. During this webinar from the American Society of Journalists and Authors (ASJA), you’ll learn about the “types of personal essays with an emphasis on the format, process, and tools needed for the reported personal essay genre.”
Jan. 16: How to Get Published
Looking to publish a book in 2025? Register for this 120-minute Writer’s Digest University webinar to boost your chances. Learn how to evaluate the commercial potential of your work and the best way to approach editors, agents, and publishers.
Jan. 19-21: Tastemaker Conference
This popular food blogger event will take place in Las Vegas. Attendees will be treated to meals (of course), swag bags, workshops, panels and food excursions around the amazing Las Vegas food scene. The 2025 event will co-locate with the Fancy Food Show to help attendees “grow your food content in diversified ways, and actually have access to resources and people that can help you scale.” Sessions will cover SEO, content creation, revenue growth and other helpful topics for food bloggers.
Jan. 22-23: TravMedia IMM North America
Calling all travel writers! This global networking event connects the travel industry with editors, journalists, broadcasters and influencers. Sessions will cover YouTube, the future of travel, accessible tourism, AI in travel, a writing masterclass and more. IMM is free for media attendees and will “provide an unrivaled return on the time invested and help journalists plan a year’s worth of travel.” The event will take place at the Javits Center in New York City.
Jan. 28-30: Southern C Summit
The Southern C Summit welcomes female entrepreneurs for three days of workshops, mentor sessions, social gatherings, and the ever-popular silent disco and swag market. Topics will cover the latest in e-commerce, media, marketing and more. If you’re passionate about blogging, wellness, fashion, food, art or media, this is a great event to check out. Both virtual and in-person ticket options are available. The in-person event will take place in Sea Island, Georgia.
Jan. 31-Feb. 1: Pinners Conference & Expo (Kansas)
The 2025 Pinners Conference schedule kicks off in January with the Overland Park, Kansas, expo. The schedule will feature 100+ classes and workshops for DIYers and craft bloggers, including hands-on sessions for watercolors, candle making, makeup, sourdough starters, party planning and much more.

Feb. 3-5: Affiliate Summit West
Mass publishers and bloggers alike will head to Las Vegas to attend Affiliate Summit West. Build new partnerships and learn new ways to boost traffic to your site. Content & Commerce, Lead Gen, Brand Strategy and Ecommerce are among the seven available content tracks.
Feb. 4-5: Creator Economy Live
Creator Economy Live will welcome hundreds of brands “to hear unparalleled insights from industry giants so that they can take their influencer marketing to the next level and deliver campaign ROI.” The main topics include measurement and ROI, creator relations, social platforms, content strategy, and future tools and trends. It will take place at Caesars Forum in Las Vegas.
Feb. 5-26: Lead with Influence
Apply now for this weekly virtual training from Poynter (deadline is Jan. 10, 2025). During this career/leadership development 101 course, attendees will learn to effectively use their current influence and set themselves up for success in the next steps of their careers. “If you have the title of project manager or product manager, or are in the position of being responsible for outcomes without formally supervising anyone (no direct reports), this program is for you,” the site says.
Feb. 10-12: Design Influencers Leadership Conference
Design influencers and interior design bloggers and writers will head to beautiful Napa, California, for this year’s conference. Topics like social media, affiliate marketing, brand growth and legal tips for influencers are included in the schedule. Other bonuses include one-on-one private brand/design influencer meetings and a genius bar for digital marketing and social media guidance.
