I’ve lately been hooked on watching real estate-related shows, namely the tiny house movement and house flipping.
Tiny houses are fascinating.
The storage solutions that builders come up with for such small spaces truly are genius. And the people who manage to live in those little beauties are equally interesting.
So this got me thinking about real estate this week. Let’s start with tiny houses.
Tiny House Blog covers “living simply in small spaces.”
The blog was launched by Kent Griswold in May 2007.
“The goal of the tiny house blog is to discover the different options available for a person looking to down size into a tiny house or cabin,” Griswold says.

Brick Underground features “Real estate. Real Life. Real New York.”
The site covers buying, renting, selling, living, improving, and escaping.
Brick Underground features really interesting content. Some posts that caught my eye include A Morningside Heights Doorman Says Goodbye to His Tenants After 36 Years on the Job, Here’s Why It’s So Expensive to Renovate in NYC (And How You Can Save), and Five Apartment Remnants From an Earlier Architectural Era.
That last post contains such fun gems from prewar apartments. Exciting.

GeekEstate is the “premier technology & internet marketing community for real estate.”

“GeekEstate Blog is a resource for real estate professionals who want to learn more about how they can grow their business through smart use of technology,” the blog says.
