GOP Convention, Day 2: Settling in to Media Row
The second day into the Republican National Convention, the PR Newswire team got settled.
The convention theme was Make America Work Again.
Audience relations managers Anna Jasinski and Christine Cube and customer content services manager Jennifer Tolhurst spent the day in Media Row in the Garage and spotted some familiar and famous faces, including Ann Coulter, actor Stephen Baldwin, former presidential candidate and radio host Herman Cain, and Florida Gov. Rick Scott.
The Garage was filled with VIPs and delegates all day. (Incidentally, in case you missed Day 1 of our coverage, here’s a peek behind the scenes. We passed CNN icons Dana Bash and Anderson Cooper that day, and honestly, that never gets old.)
In Cleveland and back at home, the PR Newswire audience relations team continues to connect members of the media with the official convention newsfeed on PR Newswire for Journalists.
It’s not too late to receive convention material, especially if you’re interested in releases and copy during the Democratic National Convention next week in Philadelphia.
PR Newswire also is releasing a host of political campaign and election news through November. Reach out to the team for more information or email [email protected].
Day 3 begins with a jaunt to Washington Post HQ to hear a panel on Immigration and National Security. Representatives Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) and Steve King (R-Iowa) will be answering questions from WaPo journalists .
Today’s GOP Convention theme is Make America First Again. Stay tuned for more pictures.
