After reviewing thousands of tasty recipe entries, the representatives at Pillsbury recognized four category winners in the 49th Pillsbury Bake-Off Contest and awarded the Grand Prize to Melissa Jollands of Hudsonville, Mich. for her delicious, pub-style Dublin Cheeseboard-Stuffed Appetizer Bread recipe and the cherished memories that inspired it.
Swarovski partnered with award-winning creative director and designer David Korins, best known for his work on the Broadway hits Hamilton and Dear Evan Hansen, to add dazzling embellishment to a selection of his set designs for the 91st Oscars. This year’s show marked Korins’ first time as production designer and Swarovski’s 12th time illuminating the Oscars stage. Key features of this year’s set design included the “Crystal Cloud,” a 1,600-pound cloud-shaped installation; the “Crystal Swag,” a 3-story high, 54-foot-wide ribbon-like formation; and two “Crystal Presenter Backings.”
As part of an ongoing effort to modernize and enhance the pizza delivery experience, Pizza Hut is collaborating with FedEx, specifically to explore the use of the FedEx SameDay Bot, a new autonomous delivery device aimed to revolutionize local delivery. When tested, the bot will serve as support to existing delivery staff in an effort to improve efficiency of the delivery process without compromising the quality of America’s favorite pizza.
TripAdvisor announced on Feb. 26 the winners of its Travelers’ Choice awards for Beaches. For the second year in a row, Florida’s Clearwater Beach is named the number one beach in America. Of the 25 best beaches in the U.S., 40 percent are in Florida and almost 30 percent are in Hawaii. Award winners were determined based on the quantity and quality of traveler reviews and ratings for beaches on TripAdvisor, gathered over a 12-month period.
