As more and more fans look for new ways to make Disney a bigger part of their lives, the company today (Feb. 16) announced plans to introduce Storyliving by Disney, vibrant new neighborhoods that are infused with the company’s special brand of magic. These master-planned communities are intended to inspire residents to foster new friendships, pursue their interests and write the next exciting chapter in their lives — all while enjoying the attention to detail, unique amenities and special touches that are Disney hallmarks.
The first Storyliving by Disney community will be built in Rancho Mirage, in California’s Coachella Valley—a location where Walt Disney himself owned a home and would spend leisure time with his family. Additional locations in the U.S. are under exploration for future development.
The world’s largest registry of pedigreed cats has again determined the world’s most popular cat breeds, based on registrations. This year’s top 10 list reflects the increasing popularity of certain breeds. However, registrations of all cats have increased substantially, reflecting the growing popularity of pet cats since the beginning of the pandemic. The Cat Fanciers’ Association Inc. (CFA), which has been dedicated to preserving the unique attributes of each cat breed since 1906, now registers 45 pedigreed breeds as well as spayed/neutered non-pedigreed domestic shorthair and longhair cats, which are recognized under CFA’s Companion Cat World program.
For the third consecutive year, the Ragdoll, a large, longhaired cat with a soft, plush coat, is number one. First recognized as an official breed by CFA in 1998, Ragdolls come in three distinctive patterns, all with intense blue eyes and a mellow disposition.
Dwellics, the authority in U.S. city data and personalized advice on where to move, has unveiled its 2022 list of the Top 100: Healthiest Counties in America. Dwellics analyzed data on more than 3,000 U.S. counties to compile a list of the Top 100 Healthiest Counties in America. Cancer incidence and mortality, air quality, water quality, substance abuse, and life expectancy are the ranking factors. While Utah achieves the highest marks for the number of counties on the list — 22 overall and four of the top five spots — Hawaii deserves mention as well. In a state with only five counties, four of them attain mention among the healthiest in the country.
The five healthiest counties in the U.S., as determined by Dwellics:
- Utah County, Utah (#1)
- Sanpete County, Utah (#2)
- San Juan County, Utah (#3)
- Cache County, Utah (#4)
- Whitman County, Washington (#5)
