4 Heartfelt Blogs to Keep the Love Going Beyond Valentine’s Day

Welcome to Blog Profiles! We regularly select a topic and handful of blogs that do a great job contributing to the conversation. This week, we’re highlighting Valentine’s Day and moments that tug at our heartstrings. Do you have a blog that deserves recognition? Tweet our writers at @BeyondBylines.

February 14th has always been recognized as a momentous time for one to celebrate and display appreciation for their significant other. To successfully execute the role of being someone’s “Valentine” on this holiday, you’re expected to jump through a series of hoops to showcase that special way of saying “I love you.” Expensive jewelry, beautiful floral arrangements, and romantic candlelit dinners at the fanciest of restaurants are some of the more common approaches. After getting lost in the urgency to spend your time, energy, and money this year, I recommend taking some time to reflect on more personal interpretations of what Valentine’s Day means to you.

Choosing to celebrate your romantic partner, friends, family members, or beloved pets are all valid excuses to create new traditions that are more inclusive in the coming years.

To encourage thoughtful gestures and meaningful relationships beyond this special day, I’ve provided a small list of blogs to help inspire that feeling of appreciation for yourself and those around you.

1. Heartmanity

“Heartmanity is the place to get the support and vital skills needed to create a healthy and thriving life with relationships that enrich and uplift you!” Founder Jennifer Williams is a relationship strategist and offers coaching as a service through online classes found on the Heartmanity website.

Readers will also find the blog, which includes personal narratives from contributors offering their own insight into how to manage day-to-day relationships. These written pieces include testimonials and advice for achieving balance in managing self-care while also caring for friends/family, a marriage, and/or your significant other.
