The Hollywood Reporter: James Hibbert returned to The Hollywood Reporter on March 1 as writer at large. He is an award-winning journalist and screenwriter who has spent the past decade at Entertainment Weekly as editor at large. Before that, Hibbert was the TV editor at The Hollywood Reporter and before that worked for Television Week.
The New York Times: Clifford J. Levy has been elevated to deputy managing editor of The New York Times. The two-time Pulitzer winner has led the Metro desk since 2018. Prior to that, Levy was a deputy managing editor overseeing The Times’s online platforms and had worked as Moscow bureau chief and an investigative reporter. He has been at The Times since 2000.
TIME: TIME has hired John Simons as executive editor. He started March 1 and will oversee business, technology, and national coverage. He comes from The Wall Street Journal, where he was most recently deputy health and science editor and bureau chief for health business. Prior to that, he was based in the WSJ’s London bureau guiding energy coverage.
