Oooh. Food.
This honestly is among my favorite blog subjects.
It’s also timely for the month of December, which happens to be National Egg Nog Month, National Fruit Cake Month, and National Pear Month.
Let’s dig in.
1. Hugs and Cookies XOXO
I first met Hugs and Cookies XOXO on Facebook because of this Peanut Butter Cookie Lasagna.
This dessert. It’s filled with Nutter Butter cookies, Cool Whip, peanut butter cups, and vanilla pudding. A girlfriend and I have plans to make this creation and enjoy every bite of it.
Danielle – a first grade teacher – is the blogger behind Hugs and Cookies XOXO.
Other awesome recipes on Danielle’s site include Chocolate Toffee Layer Cake, Strawberry Shortcake Cookies, and Boston Cream Pie Cheesecake.

2. Damn Delicious
Damn Delicious features simple ingredients and elegant dishes.
I found this yummy pot of food that soon will be dinner at my house: One Pot Chili Mac and Cheese.
This site has some gorgeous recipes and food photography. It’s managed and written by Chungah Rhee.
Tasty-looking dishes include Chicken and Potatoes with Garlic Parmesan Cream Sauce, Lemon Butter Chicken, Graham Cracker Toffee, and Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken and Veggies.

3. The Kitchn
The Kitchn aims to inspire cooks and nourish homes.
This site goes beyond just cooking and promoting beautiful food. It features a host of interesting posts about the art of cooking.
It also features how-tos, posts about living, organizing and cleaning, traveling, and shopping.
Notable posts include Marshmallow Fluff Makes the Easiest Buttercream Frosting, 5 Cute & Easy Ways to Package Cookies for Gifting, 20 Fast and Fancy Appetizers for Your Holiday Party, and Recipe: Butternut Squash Fettucine Alfredo.

4. Kevin & Amanda
I must have peanut butter on my brain because here’s another site – Kevin & Amanda — that recently hooked me because of its peanut butter pie.
Kevin and Amanda love food, travel, Boston terriers, and photography.
Their site features a bunch of fun things, including Where to Eat in Paris, Perfect Pulled Pork, and Chicken Fajita Pasta.
