Baking Blogs

It’s that time of year. The leaves are turning, and Thanksgiving is just around the corner.

It’s time to sit in front of a fire, with a cozy blanket.

Although my favorite time of year (summer) is gone, I can still appreciate a little bit of hygge.

It’s time to think about baking for a party, for the holidays, and of course, for yourself.

1. Sally’s Baking Addiction

Self-taught and addicted to baking, Sally shares her recipes and photos.

Sally lives in Maryland with her husband and two dogs.

I enjoyed reading Easy Pumpkin Pie Bars (I think I will have to make these), 45 Thanksgiving Pie Recipes, and Here’s the BEST way to Ship Cookies.

Located in New Orleans, Joy is a “self-taught baker, turned professional baker, turned food photographer and cookbook author,” she says on the site.

I recommend reading and trying Lemon Poppy Seed Pancakes and Beer Brownies. Also, “can we turn bananas into cookies?” Joy asks. The answer is YES: Peanut Butter Banana Bonbons.
